Shinedown Guitarist Jasin Todd Joins Fuel

Fuel have announced the departure of guitarist Yogi Lonich, and the addition of ex-Shinedown guitarist Jasin Todd. Slipknot’s Paul Gray Died Of Accidental Overdose

Slipknot bass player Paul Gray died of an accidental overdose of morphine and fentanyl, a medical examiner has ruled. Gray’s body was discovered on May 24 by a maintenance worker at TownePlace Suites in Urbandale. A hypodermic needle lay near the bed, and “all kinds of pills” surrounded Gray, who was hunched over in the corner of the room, according to a 911 call. Polk County Medical Examiner Dr. Gregory Schmunk said today that it was two injected drugs of fentanyl which is a synthetic form of morphine that killed Gray. Avenged Sevenfold Drummer Died of Accidental Overdose

Jimmy “The Rev” Sullivan, drummer for Avenged Sevenfold, was found unresponsive in his Huntington Beach at the end of December. Police stated the death appeared to be of natural causes, but the toxicology reports are in. Sullivan passed away from an accidental overdose of prescription drugs and alcohol. The Pink Spiders Back To Original Lineup

The Pink Spiders went on hiatus last August but now they revealed that frontman Matt Friction has been working with original members Jon Decious and Bob Ferrari. The two of them left the band in 2008 reportedly over a dispute with Friction over royalties. Friction posted a blog on the band’s MySpace page saying, “Hey guys, just wanted to let you know that Jon, Bob and myself have been playing for the past few weeks. Fans Maced At Bamboozle Roadshow In Dallas

According to tweets by All Time Low frontman Alex Gaskarth and Boys Like Girls vocalist Martin Johnson, either a security guard or a police officer allegedly maced fans at tonight’s Bamboozle Roadshow date at Six Flags Over Texas in Arlington, Texas, and that the bands were “locked on their buses” for defending the crowd. The Academy Is… have confirmed to Altpress that they will be playing this summer’s KISS tour. Isis Calling It Quits

Legendary post-metal outfit Isis are calling it quits. In a statement released on their blog, the band say, “ISIS has reached an end. It’s hard to try to say it in any delicate way, and it is a truth that is best spoken plainly. This end isn’t something that occurred over night and it hasn’t been brought about by a single cataclysmic fracture in the band.”
