Man Dies At Warped Tour In Kansas
The Vans Warped Tour has released an official statement regarding the death of a 26 year-old fan at yesterday’s show in Bonner Springs, Kansas. Yellowcard Announce Their Return
Yellowcard have revealed that they’re returning from their two-year hiatus and are recording a new album for Hopeless Records. The band (vocalist/guitarist Ryan Key, guitarist Ryan Mendez, violinist Sean Mackin, bassist Sean O’Donnell and drummer Longineu Parsons) are again working with producer Neal Avron(2003’s Ocean Avenue, 2006’s Lights And Sounds and 2007’s Paper Walls).

Craig Owens has revealed that From First To Last frontman Matt Good is joining Owens’ new band. The other members includes guitarist Nick Martin and former Matchbook Romance drummer Aaron Stern. Anberlin Reveal The Origin Of Their Band Name
In a recent interview with Spin, Anberlin vocalist Stephen Christian told the origin of the band’s name. Christrian has revealed the name was actually inspired by Radiohead: “and I was listening to Radiohead’s Kid A. I was infatuated. I listened to that album every night for a month. Pete Wentz Gives Another Black Cards Update
In a recent interview with MTV Pete Wentz cleared up some of the rumors that have been circulating about the Black Cards. Despite the statement on the Black Cards’ website about Wentz being inspired by his trip to Jamaica, the Black Cards will not be a reggae band. Vampire Weekend sued over “Contra” album cover
The woman featured on the cover of Vampire Weekend album ‘Contra’, is suing the band for $2 million because she claims the band did not receive her consent to use the photo. Kirsten Kennis claims she took the photo in 1983 and was unaware of its use with the record until she saw the band’s promotional campaign back in November 2009. The band claims they receive a signed release on the photo, but Kennis claims it is a forgery.

Trace Cyrus is reportedly being sued by his former Metro Station bandmates for announcing the group’s breakup without their permission. Cyrus, who is president of Metrostation Inc. [the band’s company], broke the news without the group’s permission and refused to step down after being voted out of office by other members.

Pete Wentz has revealed that the vocalist for his new group, ‘Black Cards‘, is Staten Island local Bebe Rex. Wentz discovered Rex when he heard her auditioning for a non-related project at the same studio where he was working on early Black Cards material.
