The Friday Night Boys have announced that they’re officially breaking up. Guitarist Mike Toohey is in a new band called Time Travel. Bassist Robby Dallas Reider will be performing with him and taking a day job working for a member of Congress. D.R.U.G.S. Headlining Ernie Ball Battle Of The Bands Showcase Party
D.R.U.G.S. will be headline the annual Vans Warped Tour/Ernie Ball Battle of the Bands showcase taking place December 3rd at the Key Club in Hollywood. The event features four contest finalists My Arcadia, the Suit, Freshman 15 and Machree. They are competing to win a $15,000 Guitar Center shopping spree, a three-song EP with producer Matt Squire, a slot on the 2011 Warped Tour and more. Tickets are $15 and can be purchased here.

D.R.U.G.S. Adds Adam Russell And Announce First Show
D.R.U.G.S.[featuring vocalist Craig Owens (formerly of Chiodos), guitarist Nick Martin (Cinematic Sunrise, Isles & Glaciers), guitarist/vocalist Matt Good (formerly of From First To Last) and drummer Aaron Stern (formerly of Matchbook Romance)] have added Story Of The Year bassist Adam Russell to the band. Boys Like Girls Drummer Arrested For Breaking And Entering
According to Massachusetts newspaper The Sun Chronicle, Boys Like Girls drummer John Keefe was charged with breaking and entering into a motor vehicle last Friday. Keefe allegedly got into a confrontation that morning with a neighbor outside his Mansfield condominium over the noise of a carpet cleaning van parked outside. Police say Keefe opened the van door several times and turned the keys to stop the cleaning equipment which was powered by a compressor. The Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame has announced the nominees for their Class of 2011.
