Gwen Stacy Break Up

Gwen Stacy have announced that they’re breaking up. Several members will be starting new projects and the band’s final show will be Nov. 20 at Rhino’s in Bloomington, Indiana. In a blog, the band said, After six years, 19 countries, countless U.S. tours, two albums and an EP, Gwen Stacy has decided to call it quits. We feel like now is the best time to end the band and pursue other options and directions in life. We would like to thank everyone who has been involved with the band’s career over the years.

Christofer Drew Might Not Use The Never Shout Never Name

In an interview, Never Shout Never‘s Christofer Drew revealed that he may stop going by the Never Shout Never and will instead use “Christofer Drew And The Shout.” Drew also said, I’m kind of sick of this band and the negative connotations with the band. Kid Rock Will Continue iTunes Boycott

Kid Rock will continue his boycott of iTunes by not releasing his new album ‘Born Free‘ to the digital retailer. He began the boycott in 2008 over pay saying the download service was based on an “old system” where musicians were cut out of the pay deals. But it is expected to be available at Amazon MP3, Rhapsody and other digital outlets when it comes out on November 16th.

Descendents To Reunite At Fun Fun Fun Fest

Descendents will headline the fifth annual Fun Fun Fun Fest taking place Nov. 5 through 7 at Waterloo Park in Austin, Texas. It will be Descendents’ first show as a full band in nearly a decade. Jack’s Mannequin Has New Bassist

Jack’s  Mannequin have announced a replacement for bassist Jon Sullivan, who left the band in September. The Wonder Years Vocalist Injured By Stagediver

The Wonder Years vocalist Dan “Soupy” Campbell was injured after a stagediver accidentally kicked him in the face during the band’s show tonight with Four Year Strong at the Prophet Bar in Dallas. Never Shout Never And The Maine Launch Food Drive

Never Shout Never and The Maine have launched a food drive on their current tour. Both bands are asking that each fan attending bring at least one non-perishable canned item with them. Each venue will have a designated area where the cans can be dropped off. After the show, the canned goods will be delivered to a local food bank. If they get 6,000 pounds total the Never Shout Never and The Maine will each release three live song in December as a reward. Saving Abel Guitarist Launches New Project

Saving Abel guitarist Jason Null has joined ex-Day of Fire front-man Josh Brown, former Saliva guitarist Jonathan Montoya, bassist Jarred Mankin (Bobaflex) and former Outspoken drummer David Fraizer to form Anti Dream Machine. They will begin recording their debut in November with acoustic dates being scheduled for the winter.
