Vans Warped Tour 2011 Posts First VIP Survey

Vans Warped Tour is offers fans a chance to be VIP’s for a day where they get a free ticket to the show and an opportunity to watch a band from side stage. In order for fans to become VIP’s, they must complete three surveys. Fans who complete survey one by January 1, 2011 will be eligible to receive the first five VIP passes. Vans Warped Tour survey one is currently posted.

Listen To A Song From Zac Farro’s New Band

Drummer Zac Farro (who recently left Paramore) reportedly has a new project called “Tunnel.” The band appears to only have Zac Farro and Jason Clark in it. A demo that is allegedly by the band is steaming below. The song is called “Hide Your Eyes.”

Josh And Zac Farro Leave Paramore

Founding guitarist and drummer Josh and Zac Farro have left Paramore according to a post on the band’s website. The brothers informed the other members of the band a few months ago that their show last Sunday in Orlando would be their last with the band. The three remaining members plan to continue on. VH1 To Air Live Shinedown Performance

VH1 will air a half hour live performance from Shinedown’s summer “Carnival of Madness” tour on December 17th at 11pm and December 18th at 2:30pm. A full hour performance will air on VH1’s Palladia Channel on December 18th at 9pm. Shinedown will be releasing a double DVD in 2011 containing footage from the “Carnival of Madness” tour and their recent acoustic tour.

Underoath To Film Video For “Paper Lung”

Underoath have announced that they’ll be filming a video for their song, “Paper Lung,” from their new album ‘Ø (Disambiguation).’ the video will be done by director Jodeb (Deftones’ “You’ve Seen The Butcher”) and filming the video in Montreal.

Paramore Taking A Break In 2011

Paramore have decided to take a break in 2011. Taylor York said in an interview with MTV that the downtime would be spent recording a new album. York also said we don’t have much more for the rest of this year. We’re going on a tour in South America and then we’re taking time off and we’re writing for a new record.” The band plans to write the album at their home of Nashville, Tennessee.

Hurt Members’ Side-Project Unveiled

Hurt guitarist Michael Roberts and frontman J. Loren have launched a side-project called Arco’s Angel. Roberts formed the project after his band Leo broke up, and J. Loren would later join before the two recorded an album called ‘Life’s Love Loss,’ which is expected to be released sometime next year.
