Avenged Sevenfold have announced Arin Ilejay, former Confide drummer, will join the band on their upcoming Nightmare After Christmas Tour. Bullet For My Valentine To Release ‘Fever Tour Edition’

Bullet For My Valentine will relelase ‘Fever Tour Edition‘ on February 15th. The CD/DVD edition will feature live versions of “Fever”, “The Last Fight” and “Bittersweet Memories” recorded at XFM Radio in the UK plus DVD footage of “Your Betrayal”, “Fever” and “Walking the Demon” filmed in Belgium.

The Spill Canvas Have Gone On Hiatus

The Spill Canvas are going on hiatus. An article with local newspaper Argus Leader has surfaced saying “…it is unclear when, or even if, they’ll reunite”. Bassist Landon Hell noted “we just need some time to refresh the music juice perhaps. We’ll see what the future holds –not sure about right now, though”. Prior to all of this, guitarist Dan Luderman had been missing at many recent shows, and is believed to have left the band. He recently put up his guitar and other equipment he acquired while playing in the band.

Austin Carlile Hospitalized

After recently announcing that he is back in Of Mice & Men, frontman Austin Carlile has tweeted that he has been hospitalized due to his heart condition. So I went to the ER last night at like 2:00 am, and have just been admitted into the hospital section. Stupid heart. I’ll be here all day. But thank God I’m okay-ish, they’ve already done a procedure where they cut open my groin to get to a main artery and then put some kind of balloony thing in there up by my valves in the heart to fix something. Craig Owens Responds To Leaked Sex Tape

Late last week, a reported sex tape featuring D.R.U.G.S frontmen Craig Owens and an adult actress surfaced online. Turns out the entire thing was planned by Owens who says he was making a statement about human nature to become obsessed with others’ personal lives. UPDATE A representative for Rise Records said Craig will only be taking a break from his solo project. Everything he has slated with Dance Gavin Dance and Emarosa are still happening as planned. Anti-Flag Respond To Claims They Influenced Arizona Shooter

Anti-Flag have released an official statement in response to allegations that their music inspired Arizona shooting suspect Jared Lee Loughner. The 22-year-old opened fire on a crowd while trying to assassinate U.S. Representative Gabrielle Giffords earlier this month. Six victims died and 13 more were injured. A former classmate of Loughner’s was quoted as saying, [Loughner] was a pot head & into rock like Hendrix, The Doors, Anti-Flag. I haven’t seen him in person since ’07. Reel Big Fish trumpet player/backing vocalist Scott Klopfenstein has revealed that he’s leaving the band. Him and his wife are expecting their first child, and he wants to remain home to focus on his family.
