Bon Iver To Release Self-titled Album In June

Bon Iver will release their new self-titled album on June 21 via Jagjaguwar. The album features 10 new songs and according to a press release, expands the group’s sonic palette beyond the rustic acoustics of [2008’s For Emma, Forever Ago] into a lush landscape of silky electric guitars, beautifully intricate keys, and subtle horn and string sections while keeping the ghost choirs and densely layered vocals intact. Fountains Of Wayne To Release New Album

Fountains Of Wayne will release their new album ‘Sky Full Of Holes’ on Aug. 2nd via Yep Roc Records. The album was recorded in New York City and features 13 new songs produced by members Chris Collingwood and Adam Schlesinger. The band will tour in support of the album beginning in August.

According to a tweet by drummer Jake Bundrick, Mayday Parade have completed work on their third album. The new album is expected to come out this summer. MP’s new record is finished. I’m so glad we did this our way and not someone else’s way this time.

Blink-182 More Than Halfway Done Recording New Album

Blink-182 drummer Travis Barker said in a interview that the band are “a little more than halfway through” recording their new album. Barker says, It’s hard to say what everything’s going to sound like because it’s not finished. It does feel exactly where it should be, where we left off with the self-titled [2003 album]. [The songs] feel like they could be disc two of that album so far. I believe we’re planning on turning it in in July and out hopefully in the summer. I think a summer tour and summer album would be nice.
