The Wonder Years, Title Fight, Valencia, Transit and more have donated rare song to a compilation called Vs. The Earthquake, proceeds of which will benefit victims of last week’s devastating earthquake and tsunami in Japan. The album will be available for a minimum donation of $5. Former Social Distortion Drummer Arrested For Overdosing In Front Of Son

Casey Royer(former drummer for Social Distortion) was arrested in Orange County, California, after he allegedly overdosed on heroin in front of his 12-year-old son. He was reportedly watching TV with his son when he began to overdose. His son ran to a neighbor’s house for help, and they subsequently called the police. Royer was hospitalized and arrested shortly after. He’s been officially charged with one count of child endangerment and one count of being under the influence of heroin. He’s currently being held on $120,000 bail.

Sublime With Rome Sign To Fueled By Ramen

Sublime with Rome have signed to Fueled By Ramen. The band features bassist Eric Wilson and drummer Bud Gaugh(founding members of Sublime) along with vocalist/guitarist Rome. They are working on their label debut with producer Paul Leary (Sublime, Long Beach Dub Allstars) and plan to release a single later this spring.

The tracklisting has been released for the tenth installment of the annual Take Action compilation from Sub City. The two-disc set features previously unreleased songs and remixes from All Time Low, Circa Survive, The Wonder Years, Four Year Strong, Chiodos and more.
