Lydia To Release New Album

Lydia frontman Leighton Antelman has revealed to Altpress that he and drummer Craig Taylor will bring the band back from hiatus to record a new album this summer. You can expect the album by late summer or early fall. After what was a crazy year of writing, recording, performing, moving to California, and much thinking, I have a few things I’d like to share. Times Of Grace Announce Touring Bassist

Shadows Fall guitarist Matt Bachand will be the touring bassist on Times of Grace’s upcoming European and North American tours. He is filling in for Daniel Struble who is unable take part in the tour due to personal matters.

Avenged Sevenfold To Headline 2011 Uproar Tour

Avenged Sevenfold will headline the 2011 Rockstar Uproar tour with Three Days Grace, Seether, Bullet For My Valentne and Escape the Fate on the main stage. A second stage will be headlined by Sevendust with Black Tide, Art of Dying and The Black Cloud Collective. The tour will run from August 26th through October 15th. Dates and venue information will be announced shortly.

Egypt Central Announce Dates With Abused Romance

Egypt Central will go on a tour with Abused Romance and Candlelight Red in June. Texas In July Drummer To Appear On The Tonight Show

A viral video featuring Texas In July drummer Adam Gray juggling three drum sticks while playing has got him on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno on May 17th. He will be performing during a skit called “Does This Thrill Bill” in which he tries to impress actor William Shatner. Gray says, I’m honored to have been selected to perform on The Tonight Show. Everyone at the show that I’ve worked with so far has been incredibly supportive. I can’t thank them enough for such a great opportunity. New Song – August Burns Red “Empire”

August Burns Red have posted a new song “Empire.” The is off their upcoming fourth album ‘Leveler.’ The album come out on June 21 via Solid State. Guitarist JB Brubaker says, ‘Empire’ is a pretty intense song and we feel it starts the album out with a bang. My favorite part is the melodic section in the middle with the group singing. We’ve never done anything like that before and it makes the song special for me.

Bonnaroo Is Sold Out

This year’s Bonnaroo festival has sold out. Festival organizers have a few messages for those lucky enough to have tickets: No one should show up without a wristband. There will not be any sales at the gate. There aren’t any paper tickets and only wristbands purchased through Bonnaroo are guaranteed authentic. Man Overboard have announced that Steve Klein (New Found Glory guitarist) and Jesse Cannon will co-produce their upcoming album. The band will be working on it this summer and are looking at a September release via Rise Records.
