Weezer Officially Announce Blinkerton Tour
Weezer have officially announced that they’ll be touring this winter and playing their first two albums ‘Weezer‘ (The Blue Album) and ‘Pinkerton’ in their entirety. The band will play two shows in each city on the tour with The Blue Album performance on the first night and Pinkerton on the second. No dates have been set yet.

Weezer Frontman Confirms Blue Album/Pinkerton Tour
There been speculation after guitarist Brian Bell commented that the band may embark on a Pinkerton tour, playing the 1996 classic start-to-finish. Weezer Team Up With Hurley For Clothing Collection
Weezer have team up with Hurley to create a clothing collection exclusively for PacSun. The line, which includes limited edition Weezer T-shirts and hoodies, will be available beginning Sept. 10. The collection was designed around the Weezer aesthetic, using simple color pallets that “are both retro and futuristic,” according to a press release. Between Sept. 10 and Oct. 15, fans who purchase the products will receive a free download card of Weezer music with bonus content along with the possibility of winning signed posters, guitars and more. One fan will win a lunchtime Weezer concert for their school.

Yesterday, “Memories,” the first single from Weezer‘s upcoming eighth album ‘Hurley‘ leaked online. Now the band is giving away a free, legal MP3 download of the song. The MP3 in is actually a remix of the song with gang vocals provided by the Jackass crew. The song is scheduled to appear in the movie Jackass 3D. ‘Hurley’ drops Sept. 14.

Weezer webmaster/documentarian Karl Koch has posted an extensive blog detailing the events of yesterday’s bus accident that left frontman Rivers Cuomo hospitalized with three cracked ribs, internal damage and an injured lower leg. Weezer singer-guitarist Rivers Cuomo has been hospitalized for minor injuries after his tour bus skidded off the road in upstate New York at approximately 7:30 a.m. According to CNN, the bus was on the New York State Thruway around 40 miles west of Albany en route from Toronto, Ontario, to Boston after a light snowstorm when the rear of the vehicle slipped on ice, ran into several reflective road posts and jumped a guardrail, landing in a ditch.
