Sum 41 have announced their South American tour with Four Year Strong, Attack Attack!, and Pierce The Veil has been canceled due to Deryck Whibley’s ongoing medical condition. Sum 41 had to cancel the remaining dates of their tour due to frontman Deryck Whibley sustaining another back injury. Alice In Chains To Headline Rock On The Range Canada

Alice in Chains will headline Canada’s Rock on the Range on August 20th in Winnipeg. Evanescence, Five Finger Death Punch, Hinder, Art of Dying and The Reason will also perform on the main stage. Sum 41 will headline the second stage with Volbeat, Anberlin, Crash Kings, Loaded and Drive A. More info here.

Sum 41 To Play A Myspace Secret Show

Myspace Music has announced a secret show by Sum 41 set for April 1 at Boardner’s in Hollywood, California. The show will be filmed and live streamed in HD. Kemble Walter’s And The Blank Faces will provide support, which kicks off at 8 p.m.

Sum 41 Has Cancel Shows Due To Health Issues

Sum 41 have been forced to cancel multiple shows at the Soundwave Festival in Australia due to Deryck Whibley (lead singer, guitar) unfortunately being diagnosed with severe pneumonia. The band plans on rejoining the Festival as well as continuing on with their world tour as soon as Whibley recovers from his illness. Sum 41 Cancel Warped Tour Appearances

Sum 41 have announced that they will have to cancel their remaining appearances on Warped Tour. Frontman Deryck Whibley was attacked in Japan last Thursday, re-aggravating a slipped disk in his spine which he originally sustained in 2007.
