Silverstein will enter the studio this week to record their new mini-album ‘Short Songs‘. The album will feature 22 songs, all under 90 seconds long. Side A will consist of 11 originals, and Side B will be the covers. The album will be released in January 2012.

Altpress has reveal the official lineup for the 10-year anniversary of Hopeless Records’ Take Action Tour. Silverstein and Bayside will co-headline and they’ll be joined by Polar Bear Club, the Swellers and Texas In July. The annual charity tour will be raising funds and awareness for Sex, Etc., a national organization dedicated to providing and promoting comprehensive sex education to young people and the adults who teach them. Silverstein Sign To Hopeless/Universal And Releasing EP
Silverstein have announced that they have singed to Hopeless Records in the U.S., Europe and Japan, and to Universal Music in Canada. The band will also release a digital EP called ‘Transitions‘ on December 7th. The EP will feature two new songs from the full-length which comes out next year. Silverstein No Longer On Victory Records
Silverstein have set things straight on a post on their Facebook page. They reveal that the band is no longer on Victory Records. And they also announced that they are recording new material but have yet to give the new record a name. The post from frontman Shane Told says, Our new record will NOT be called Set This All Ablaze, and we have left Victory Records. We have never been more excited for everything going on with Silverstein right now. Thanks for all the kind words and support!

The lineup has been revealed for the first annual Scream It Like You Mean It tour. Silverstein, Emery, Dance Gavin Dance, I Set My Friends On Fire, Sky Eats Airplane, Ivoryline and Close To Home will be on the tour which begins in July.
