Travis Barker recently said that Blink-182‘s new album would not comes out until late-2011/early-2012, but now he has now said that the album will be coming out this summer.

UPDATE 2/15/11 Travis Barker Retracts New Blink-182 Album Release Comment Blink-182‘s Mark Hoppus (bassist) originally said he wanted to get the album out in April or May of this year. But now Travis Barker has noted that the album should be out “by the end of this year or early next year” in this video below.

Blink-182 To Finish Recording By May
Blink-182 vocalist/bassist Mark Hoppus posted a blog post talking about how things are going with the band’s upcoming album. Hoppus says the band want to deliver the record in April or May for release very soon afterward. I’d say we’re working with the better part of 10 or so songs at this point. It seems like the songs are both taking a step even further than we took on the last album, while also going back to the sound of some of the earlier albums. Read the entire blog here.
