Blink-182 have released the album artwork for their new album ‘Neighborhoods.’ The album will be released on September 27th.

Blink-182‘s bassist Mark Hoppus explained to MTV about why the band chose the album title ‘Neighborhoods’. Check out the article here and see an excerpt below. “So we’re each like different neighborhoods in a city. Everybody in the world thinks of something unique unto themselves when they hear the word ‘Neighborhoods,’ ” he continued. “To some it is a big city, others a small town, others suburbia, everything. The world is wide, exciting and very different. That’s what Neighborhoods means to me.”

Blink-182 has revealed that their new album will be titled ‘Neighborhoods’. And we can expect the album to be released on September 27th.

Blink-182 is getting closer to finishing their new album. Mark Hoppus has posted a new Facebook update about the album’s current status. Read below: i’m very excited. we’re getting to the point of the album where we talk about mixers and finishing up the songs. we deliver the album to the label on july 31st, so it will be coming out during the tour. the most recent batch of songs are some of the best of the entire record. very happy it’s all coming together.

Blink-182 recently did an interview with Rolling Stone where they reveal that they have until July 31 to turn in the album to their record label, and will be playing new music on the Honda Civic tour.

Blink-182 drummer Travis Barker said in a interview that the band are “a little more than halfway through” recording their new album. Barker says, It’s hard to say what everything’s going to sound like because it’s not finished. It does feel exactly where it should be, where we left off with the self-titled [2003 album]. [The songs] feel like they could be disc two of that album so far. I believe we’re planning on turning it in in July and out hopefully in the summer. I think a summer tour and summer album would be nice.
