As I Lay Dying frontman Tim Lambesis had been released from prison on Dec. 17, 2016 after being incarcerated in 2014 for his role in a murder-for-hire plot to kill his estranged wife. He served two-and-a-half years of a six-year sentence. Metal Injection reports that Lambesis is getting married to Amanda Dubord, the same woman he was dating before being arrested. California Department Of Corrections And Rehabilitation has confirmed that he was discharged to the Division of Adult Parole Operations Dec. 17, 2016.

As I Lay Dying’s Tim Lambesis appeared in court today, February 25, in Vista, CA. According to NBC 7 San Diego, the singer changed his plea in court to guilty, admitting that he attempted to hire a hit man to kill his estranged wife, Meggan. He will serve up to nine years in jail.
