Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame Announces 2017 Inductees
The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame has announced its class of 2017 inductees. Pearl Jam, Joan Baez, Tupac Shakur, Journey, Electric Light Orchestra, Yes and Nile Rodgers of Chic are to be inducted at the April ceremony next year. Rodgers will receive the prestigious Award For Musical Excellence. Ticket details for the ceremony, which will be held April 7 at Brooklyn’s Barclays Center, will be announced in January.
President Obama Signs Bill To Ban Ticket-Buying Bots
President Obama has signed the Better Online Ticket Sales Act. The BOTS Act “prohibits the circumvention of control measures used by Internet ticket sellers to ensure equitable consumer access to tickets for certain events.” This makes it a federal crime to use bots to buy concert tickets.

Former 3 Doors Down Guitarist Matt Roberts Dead At 38
Former 3 Doors Down guitarist Matt Roberts has passed away at the age of 38, according to a report from TMZ. Matt’s father Darrell Roberts spoke to TMZ, saying Matt was set to perform at a charity event just outside of Milwaukee, and he last saw Matt after his rehearsal ended at 1:00 a.m. Saturday night. Darrell said he was awoken by detectives around 9:00 a.m. the following morning, who informed him that Matt had passed away overnight.
