The Frustrators (featuring Green Day bassist Mike Dirnt, guitarist Terry Linehan of Waterdog and vocalist Jason Chandler and drummer Art Tedeschi of Violent Anal Death) will release a EP ‘Griller’. It comes out on February 15th via Adeline Records. Digital release is set for February 22nd. The band have also announced a string of California tour dates. Linehan says of the new EP:
It has all the elements that make the Frustrators the Frustrators. It has a pop sensibility and is a little bit outside of the punk confines. We’ve all matured as musicians and songwriters. Any time any of us record we want it to be the best that we can be.” As for Dirnt’s other band, Linehan says, “The bar’s pretty high. We’re not trying to jump over the bar or just shimmy under it. But we at least want to be five feet under looking up at it.
The tour will include Emily’s Army, Star Fucking Hipsters, Phenomenauts, Classics Of Love, Fleshies, the Pillowfights, DIsabled Intent, Mystic Knights Of The Cobra, the Can-Cannibals, Kepi Ghoulie Band, Bryan McPherson, Mad Judy, the Billybones, the Bombpops and more. Dates below:
