Rock On The Range Ending, Replacement Announced

Rock On The Range’s co-creator Danny Wimmer Presents announced the debut of the, Sonic Temple Art + Music Festival. The festival will be replacing Rock On The Range and take place at MAPFRE Stadium in Columbus, OH. Sonic Temple Art + Music Festival will begin Friday, May 17 and go through Sunday, May 19. The festival will officially replace Rock On The Range in 2019. The new festival plans to bring high-quality entertainment, art installations and a premium food and beverage selection. The largest rock festival in the US, Rock On The Range festival is now sold-out. This the fourth year in a row the festival has sold-out. “Anyone who says, ‘Rock is Dead,’ hasn’t paid attention to Rock On The Range,” says co-executive producer Wimmer. “This festival has grown in each one of its 10 years, selling out in record time this year. Rock On The Range’s strength stands as a testament that rock fans are not only alive and well, they are flourishing.”

Rock on the Range will expand to a three day in 2013. It will take place on May 17th-19th. Layaway tickets go on sale November 26th with regular tickets going on sale in January. Band lineup will be revealed early next year.
