Norma Jean have been tweeting that they plan to release a new album in 2013. They re-entered the studio today after a break and have been recording since early December. Of the album so far the band says, We spent almost 2 years writing this. We have definitely found so many ways to expand on what we’ve done before and progress into making something new. This is definitely something new, but don’t misunderstand. It’s heavy! We’re metal heads! Born and raised.

Underoath Announce New Drummer
Underoath have announced that former Norma Jean drummer Daniel Davison will replaces Aaron Gillespie who announced his departure from the group in April. They will begin recording a new album later this month with producers Matt Goldman and Jeremy Griffith. A late 2010 release is expected.
