Quiet Riot named American Idol finalist James Durbin as the band’s new singer. With the new album Road Rage already recorded, the group has made the decision to re-record with Durbin, pushing the album’s release back from April 21 until later this summer.

Quiet Riot drummer Franke Banali has confirmed to Billboard that the band has split with singer Seann Nicols (a.k.a. Sheldon Tarsha) and has replaced him with “American Idol” finalist James Durbin.
