Vinnie Paul Abbott, legendary drummer for Pantera, Hellyeah and Damageplan, has died at the age of 54. Vincent Paul Abbott aka Vinnie Paul has passed away. Paul is best known for his work as the drummer in the bands Pantera and Hellyeah. No further details are available at this time. The family requests you please respect their privacy during this time.

Korn, Shinedown, Stone Sour, More Announced For Rise Above Fest

Rise Above Fest has announced their 2017 lineup. This will be the fifth year for the festival. It was started in 2013 by Seether and it’s goal was to raise awareness for both suicide and mental illness. The festival has already raised over $100,000 for SAVE (Suicide Awareness Voices Of Education). Tickets are going on sale this friday (2/24) and can be purchased here. Rock Fest 2017 Lineup

Avenged Sevenfold, Rob Zombie, Slayer To Headline 2017 Rock Fest

Rock Fest will be returning once again to Cadott, Wis. in 2017. Avenged Sevenfold, Rob Zombie and Slayer will be headlining over the course of the July 13 – 15 weekend. Rock Fest is set on 320 acres of land that includes over 7,000 camp sites. Fans will have the option to camp on the grounds or stay at nearby hotels with shuttle service. There are several ticket options, including three different VIP packages labeled Gold, Silver and Bronze. Check it out on the Rock Fest website.
