Former Coheed and Cambria Bassist Michael Todd Pleads Guilty To 2011 Robbery

Former Coheed and Cambria bassist Michael Todd has entered a guilty plea Monday (June 11) for robbing a Walgreens store for painkillers last July. The Sun Chronicle reports that Todd was sentenced to serve one year of home confinement with a GPS monitoring system. Judge Renee Dupuis also gave the musician three years’ probation. Todd must continue his drug treatment program and submit to regular drug testing.

A month after bassist Michael Todd allegedly robbed a Massachusetts convenience store, Coheed And Cambria announced they have parted ways with him. After a lot of thought, introspection and discussion, Coheed and Cambria will be continuing our journey without bassist Michael Todd. Coheed And Cambria Bassist Michael Todd Arraigned On Robbery And Drug Charges

Coheed And Cambria bassist Michael Todd was arrested on Sunday after robbing a Walgreens. He arraigned monday on charges of armed robbery and drug possession. He plead not guilty in Attleboro (Massachusetts) District Court through his attorney, Sandra Ferreira. Judge Dan O’Shea held Todd on $25,000 cash bail; a preliminary hearing is scheduled for August 9. Coheed And Cambria are finishing out their tour dates with Wes Styles filling in on bass.

Coheed And Cambria bassist Michael Todd was arrested for armed robbery before his band opened for Soundgarden tonight in Mansfield, Massachusetts. According to TMZ, Todd “showed a pharmacist a cell phone note that said he had a bomb and demanded Oxycontin. He made off with six bottles of pain pills and fled via taxi.” Police later tracked the cab to the Comcast Center for the Performing Arts. Coheed And Cambria To Play Debut Album On Spring Tour

Coheed And Cambria have revealed details for their upcoming spring tour. They’ll be performing their debut ‘The Second Stage Turbine Blade’ in its entirety. It will also include a 30-40 minute acoustic set along with a set of songs from other albums. The tour is a continuation of the band’s 2008 “Neverender,” which saw the band perform each of their albums over four nights in New York City.
