Black Sabbath Working On Documentary

In a recent interview with NBC News, Black Sabbath guitarist Tony Iommi revealed the band is working on a documentary. “We’ll actually be doing a documentary. My job at the moment is to have a listen to what we’ve done,” NBC News also reports that the band may be putting together a live album of their last show and that Iommi is, “in the process of mixing the sound from the final Sabbath shows in Birmingham for a possible live album.”

Former Black Sabbath keyboardist Geoff Nicholls has passed away at the age of 68, following a battle with lung cancer Billboard reports. He had a run with the band from 1979-2004, and he appeared on nine Black Sabbath studio albums. Yesterday Black Sabbath drummer Bill Ward posted a statement threatening to withdraw from the band’s reunion plans due to “unsignable” contracts. Black Sabbath To Hold Press Conference On 11/11/11

Black Sabbath are holding a press conference to make a “special announcement” on November 11, at 11:11 a.m. in Los Angeles. It will be held at the Whisky A Go Go , where the band made its Los Angeles debut 41 years ago. All four original members will be present and it will be hosted by Henry Rollins. It is a private event.
