Yellowcard frontman Ryan Key recently got foot surgery and will sit onstage for the first couple of shows of Vans Warped Tour. Read below:
Hey everyone.
I have some unfortunate news. It is nothing too serious, but I had to have a medical procedure on the bottom of my right foot which is going to prevent me from putting any weight on it for 2 full weeks. Everything went fine and it will be healed up soon, but it looks like I’ll have to be sitting down on stage for the first couple of shows on the Vans Warped Tour. So I’m going to need everyone out there to step it up and make up for my lack of mobility up there! The first show of the tour is in Salt Lake City. In 2007 I remember seeing police officers climbing a chain link fence to get out of the madness that was happening in the crowd. I expect nothing less this year, even though I’ll be stuck in a chair! I hope you understand. See you soon!
