Ernie Ball Inc. have announced the launch of the company’s 15th annual Ernie Ball Battle of the Bands competition. Ernie Ball will give artists a chance to perform live on this summer’s Vans Warped Tour, and one grand prize winning band will win a three-song EP produced by Matt Squire along with a $15,000 Guitar Center shopping spree and more. Brian Ball of Ernie Ball says,
We truly believe that live music is the lifeblood of our industry. Over the past 15 years, we’ve been committed to providing a springboard for emerging talent to play live and enhance their exposure.
To enter, upload music and your band’s profile here. Deadline to submit is June 1, at which time, judges will choose four bands for each stop of Warped Tour. Last year, 186 bands were chosen out of nearly 16,000 entries.
