Motion City Soundtrack vocalist Justin Pierre came up for a concept for a one-take video for “A Lifeless Ordinary”. The band teamed up with indie director Shane Nelson for the clip. Pierre said it took 19 attempts to get the complex and continuous shot right. Check it out here.

iTunes To Extend Song Previews To 90 Seconds
Apple will be extending song previews from 30 seconds to 90 seconds within the US version of their iTunes music store. The change will take place soon for any songs that are longer than 2:30 (shorter songs will keep 30-second previews).

Angels And Airwaves To Release New Album And Movie
Angels And Airwaves will release their film ‘Love’ on Valentine’s Day next year. The movie will be screened at select cities starting on the West Coast, and each showing will be an event featuring the band, exclusive merch and more. They will also release a full-length album on Valentine’s Day, which will also be called ‘Love’.
Kid Rock Will Continue iTunes Boycott
Kid Rock will continue his boycott of iTunes by not releasing his new album ‘Born Free‘ to the digital retailer. He began the boycott in 2008 over pay saying the download service was based on an “old system” where musicians were cut out of the pay deals. But it is expected to be available at Amazon MP3, Rhapsody and other digital outlets when it comes out on November 16th.

The Wonder Years vocalist Dan “Soupy” Campbell was injured after a stagediver accidentally kicked him in the face during the band’s show tonight with Four Year Strong at the Prophet Bar in Dallas.
