Paramore Taking A Break In 2011

Paramore have decided to take a break in 2011. Taylor York said in an interview with MTV that the downtime would be spent recording a new album. York also said we don’t have much more for the rest of this year. We’re going on a tour in South America and then we’re taking time off and we’re writing for a new record.” The band plans to write the album at their home of Nashville, Tennessee.

The lineup for the 2011 AP Tour has been unveiled. Black Veil Brides and Destroy Rebuild Until God Shows will co-headline, joined by I See Stars, VersaEmerge and Conditions.

According to a tweet by The Young Veins guitarist/vocalist Jon Walker, the band are on hiatus. Walker said, The Young Veins [have] been on hiatus and will remain that way for the time being. Thanks for getting the album and coming to the shows.

You Me At Six frontman Josh Franceschi has revealed in a new interview the band are hopeful to release a new album in September of 2011. He says, We’ve got songs that we’ve written that sound like they could be on a Coldplay or Snow Patrol album. And then we’ve got another song that sounds like it could be on a Parkway Drive record.
