Jesse Barnett, Personally this seems like the next logical step for our band. The five of us aren’t a group that has ever been ok with doing just enough or even entertain the thought of doing the same thing over and over again. We like to push ourselves. Red Hot Chili Peppers performed at Super Bowl halftime show alongside Bruno Mars on Sunday. But the performance has drawn criticism as it was visibly noticeable that bassist Flea and guitarist Josh Klinghoffer were performing without their instruments plugged in. Bassist Flea released an open letter to fans explaining the situation.
