The Summer Set have revealed plans to release an EP featuring two new holiday themed songs. Read an official statement below:
Today marked the end of our three day stint in the studio here in Phoenix. We recorded two Christmas songs, one called “Something ‘Bout This Time Of Year” and another called “Old Mexico” (strange title for a Christmas song eh?). There’s a reoccurring theme in both of these songs, the importance of being around the ones you love this time of year. All too often people get caught up in materialistic things, every billboard, every TV commercial is telling you what you “NEED,” when the truth is you don’t actually “need” any of that shit, it’s not important, the people you love are what really matter.
Because of that, we’re talking about calling this Holiday EP What Money Can’t Buy. Thoughts?
