Foo Fighters have released a new trailer for their HBO special, Sonic Highways (same name as their new album), which is set to premiere October 16. In the trailer, you can hear clips of two new songs “Something From Nothing” and “The Feast And The Famine.”

Foo Fighters Will Release New Album This Fall

Foo Fighters have confirmed they will release their eighth studio albumthis fall via RCA/Roswell Recrods (Dave Grohl’s imprint label). One song was recorded in each city, every song featuring local legends sitting in, and every lyric written in an unprecedented experimental style: Dave held off on putting down words until the last day of each session, so as to be inspired by the experiences, interviews and personalities that became part of the process.

Foo Fighters have finished writing a new album, and it will most likely come out next year. The Grammys are tonight at 8PM ET and I will update this post with all the winners we care about. 7:05 p.m.: In the pre-televised awards ceremony: Skrillex has won the “Best Remixed Recording, Non-Classical” Grammy for his take on Benny Benassi’s “Cinema.”  Skrillex’s song “Scary Monsters And Nice Sprites” won Best Dance Recording and Scary Monsters And Nice Sprites won Best Dance/Electronica Album.
