Deftones frontman Chino Moreno has formed a new band with Aaron Harris, Clifford Meyer and Jeff Caxide of ISIS. The project will be called Palms. There album is already recorded and will be released this summer via Ipecac Recordings.

System of a Down and Deftones are teasing a tour announcement for Monday (April 23). You can see the two photos above. The Deftones will now enter the studio next week to begin work on their new album. Originally they were expected to enter the studio in July.

After three years in a coma, Deftones bassist Chi Cheng has started to emerge from a coma. He is able to lift his leg on command. Cheng was injured in November 2008 car accident where he was ejected from the vechile.
