• Comeback Kid Announce ‘Turn It Around’ Anniversary Tour With Original Vocalist

  Comeback Kid will celebrate the tenth anniversary of Turn It Around with original vocalist Scott Wade. Current vocalist Andrew Neufeld will be back in his initial position with the band playing guitar. Guitarist Jeremy Hiebert explained the tour and plans to add more dates,

  Can’t believe it’s already been 10 years since we released Turn It Around, but as we all know, time flies. We thought it’d be cool to commemorate it with a few things, one of them being bringing Scott Wade back on vocals for some dates. We’ll do a few shows and festivals playing songs off of Turn It Around as well as Wake The Dead in April, May and June. Not a lineup change, just a little living in the past as a thank you to those who’ve been with us since day one. Don’t worry… Canada and USA dates coming soon!

• Comeback Kid’s Guitarist Leaves Bands

  Comeback Kid have announced that guitarist Casey Hjelmberg has left the band. Stu Ross (Misery Signals, Living With Lions) will be filling in on guitar. Statement below:

  We very unfortunately have to announce that our friend and guitar player Casey Hjelmberg has decided to leave Comeback Kid. The split is completely amicable and we’re thankful to have spent as much time with him over the past few years as we have. He let us know early last year that it was time to move on with his life, and we’re sorry to see him go.

  Casey has been in Comeback Kid since our original vocalist Scott left in 2006 and Andrew took over vocal duties. He has been a true friend to us all and huge part of why we’ve been able to keep at this for as long as we have. We wish him all the luck in the world and we’re sure he’ll be just fine. In the meantime, our friend Stu Ross will be filling in on guitar. Stu has been on tour with us a bunch with both Misery Signals and Living with Lions. We’re not going to miss a step and we look forward to seeing everyone on tour in 2012.

  Our sincere thanks and love go out to Casey. We can’t wait for the year to come and we hope everyone is as excited as we are.
