Chester Bennington’s Cause Of Death Confirmed/Cancel Tour

According to Billboard, the Los Angeles County coroner has confirmed, that Linkin Park frontman Chester Bennington died by hanging.

The coroner’s office spokesman Ed Winter said the 41-year-old hanged himself from a bedroom door in his home near Los Angeles.

The band have canceled their One More Light tour. The tour was set to kick off next week in Mansfield, MA on July 27, and run through October before the band headed overseas to Japan.

In a statement from Live Nation,

We are incredibly saddened to hear about the passing of Chester Bennington. The Linkin Park One More Light North American tour has been canceled and refunds are available at point of purchase. Our thoughts go out to all those affected.

Blink-182 have announced that they will not be doing their “Blinkin Park” shows.

Blink-182 is wrecked by the loss of our friend and amazing musician Chester Bennington. We could never imagine playing blinkin park without his incredible talent and voice.
