Micheal Sawyer Close Your Eyes Announce New Vocalist And Lineup Changes

Close Your Eyes guitarist Brett Callaway has released a statement to AP on their lineup changes:

Hey everybody! We are about to play our first show with the new lineup and I thought it would be a good idea to put some information out there! First of all there have been a few lineup changes that I know fans have been waiting anxiously to find out. Andrew Rodriguez is back with us on the road playing guitar, Jordan Hatfield is playing drums for us and Micheal Sawyer (pictured above) is now filling the vocal spot. We are glad to have Andrew back with us and we missed him out on the road, even though he never actually quit the band. We are excited for everyone to come out and see us and meet the new members! We are coming out strong and have been practicing hard trying not to miss a beat! I personally think our fans will be pleasantly surprised at how little the sound is changing with the lineup changes. We are who we are after all! Following the mini tour we are currently are on, we will be going out on the Scream The Prayer tour this summer. Thank you to all of our fans for all your support and for sticking with us as while we were working things out.

  • Tom Degrazia Rejoins That’s Outrageous!

That’s Outrageous Tom Degrazia Rejoins That’s Outrageous!

Former That’s Outrageous! vocalist Tom Degrazia has rejoined the band. Read below:

“I’m pretty positive a ton of people will be questioning why I’m back in That’s Outrageous! I’m going to spare the usual boring blog and get right to it. Last year a band that was my brain child was taken from me. A few of the current members were manipulated by a few of the past members and one thing led to another and I was kicked out.
For those of you who don’t know, T.O! was an idea I had…and to launch that idea I needed a few other people. We made two demos and got contacted by 5 different record labels within the month they were out. We signed to Rise within two months and hadn’t even played a show.
As most of you are aware, Doriano recently joined Woe, Is me, leaving the rest of the band pretty tarnished. It was at this time I saw an opportunity to reconcile any past events and bring T.O! back as a family, not a business like it should have been from the start.
We then wrote “Obliviate” in hopes of starting a new era for the band. So far your support has been nothing short of amazing and we hope you come along for the ride!
We are going to be making a Q&A vid in the next coming weeks and would love to answer any questions you guys might have for us!
You can send your questions to ThatsOutrageousQuestions@Gmail.com”

Four Year Strong Four Year Strong No Longer On Universal

Four Year Strong have parted ways with Universal Motown/Universal Republic. Read below:

“When the merger between Motown and Republic happened, our album was essentially done,” says FYS manager Rob Hitt. “Republic put out the album since it was done and didn’t seem like they had much intention other than that, so we were able to get off the label. Nobody is unhappy about this on our side.”
