Travis Barker Working On New Transplants Album

Blink-182 drummer Travis Barker tweeted that he’s recording drums for a song to appear on a new Transplants album. The side-project featuring Barker, vocalist “Skinhead” Rob Aston and Rancid vocalist/guitarist Tim Armstrong released two full-lengths since forming in 1999. The band went on hiatus in 2006, but Barker revealed earlier this year that the supergroup would be reconvening for another album.

Legendary post-metal outfit Isis are calling it quits. In a statement released on their blog, the band say, “ISIS has reached an end. It’s hard to try to say it in any delicate way, and it is a truth that is best spoken plainly. This end isn’t something that occurred over night and it hasn’t been brought about by a single cataclysmic fracture in the band.”

Alex Band Returns With New Single “Tonight”

Alex Band has released a new song “Tonight,”. Torche Robbed In Chicago

Torche had their van broken into between 1:30 a.m. and 4 a.m. on Friday after their show at the Congress Theater in Chicago. Much of the band’s belongings including their gear, luggage and laptops was stolen. Hydra Head has set up a Paypal donation page for fans wishing to help get the band back on their feet here.
