AMBER PACIFIC // ORIGINAL LEAD SINGER MATT YOUNG BACK TO FRONT GROUP; PLAN ACOUSTIC PERFORMANCES.
SEATTLE, WA–Feb 9, 2011–Nearly Three years after leaving Amber Pacific to seek a professional career outside of the music vertical, original lead singer Matt Young has returned to front the group. Matt Young’s distinctive voice can be heard on all of Amber Pacific’s albums through 2007’s Truth In Sincerity, before his departure in early 2008. This return to original form already has fans buzzing with excitement of what could potentially be on the horizon for the group in the very near future. Earlier this year, guitarist William Nutter posted via his Twitter feed (@William_Nutter) that he was “Writing the first song I’ve written since the release of “Virtues” using “The Possibility And The Promise” as a reference to please old fans”, hinting at a return to their early sound which garnered the group much success, ultimately landing them on numerous support slots including the 2004, 2005, 2006 and 2007 Van’s Warped Tour among many others.
Amber Pacific is currently planning regional college and festival, acoustic only performances in select markets. Dates and venues will be released as soon as they are available.
