3 Doors Down Bassist Charged With Vehicular Homicide

3 Doors Down bassist Todd Harrell was arrested Friday night (April 19) in Nashville and charged
with vehicular homicide following a car crash.

Police state that Harrell was speeding when his vehicle clipped a pickup truck that proceeded to
spin out of control, struck a guardrail and then traveled down an embankment, flipping in the
process. According to the reports, the driver of the pickup was not wearing a seatbelt and was
pronounced dead shortly after arriving at the hospital. According to local News Channel 5,
Harrell’s Cadillac struck a retaining wall and stopped about a quarter of a mile away.

The bassist was charged with vehicular homicide and bringing a controlled substance into
the jail. He’s being held on $100,000 bond.

3 Doors Down issued a statement:
